The city of Naples is known throughout the world for its sea, sun and pizza. But Naples is not only this: it's a city where good taste and a strong passion for fashion have always reigned. From the big brands to the Neapolitan craft, there are many places in the Campania's capital where you can unleash shopping spree.
Starting from Via Dei Mille and proceeding along Via Filangieri, between ancient and elegant buildings of the center, it's possible to find highend brands such as Louis Vuitton, Hugo Boss, Bulgari, Fendi or multi-brand boutiques such as De Liberti.
But it isn't only there that the most fashionable shops are concentrated; some minutes walk and you can reach another iconic area of the Neapolitan luxury: the Chiaia district. Just a few steps from the sea, particularly near Piazza dei Martiri, we find stores such as Salvatore Ferragamo, Emporio Armani, Gucci and multi-brand boutiques such as Michele Franzese and Galiano.
But the shopping streets are not over! Going up via Chiaia and passing through Piazza del Plebiscito, it’s possible to come to one of the most important way of the city, Via Toledo. Between one sfogliatella and the other, here you can engage yourself to less demanding purchases and at more affordable prices.
Between via Toledo, via Roma and the Galleria Umberto I, there are so much shopping opportunities: from the historic Antonio Barbaro boutique to the latest trend streetwear stores.
Corso Umberto I, better known as "Rettifilo", is a long road that connects the railway station to the historic center of the city and it's full of shops, including Traffic Multilab.
The Vomero district is one of the most famous in Naples and, as many of you already know, is certainly not the cheapest. Walking between via Luca Giordano and via Alessandro Scarlatti it's possible to find luxury stores and multi-brand boutiques like De Matteo; but if you want to opt for savings, going into the various lanes, you can do big bargains.
Finally in Naples it isn't possible to miss a chance to see the craft shops of "Spaccanapoli", the street that completely divides the city into two and a place of inspiration for great artists and stylists. In this magical street Dolce & Gabbana showed the 2016/17 Autumn-Winter Haute Couture collection, whose sponsor was the iconic actress Sophia Loren.
