BERLIN SHOPPING GUIDE, SYNONIMOUS WITH COSMOPOLITANISM AND INNOVATION

Berlin, the ancient breaking point between two opposite worlds, has experienced an incredible development since the fall of the Wall.

The German capital today is an ever-changing city, with a cosmopolitan and innovative inclination that includes every aspect, from art, to food, to fashion.

If, after visiting the famous landmarks - Alexanderplatz, the Wall, the Pergamonmuseum, the Reichstag, the Brandenburg Gate, the Checkpoint Charlie - you want to go shopping, here there's a guide for you.

Berlin, besides the famous department stores such as the KaDeWe and the Galeries Lafayette, has numerous shops with wide and fascinating spaces.

First of all The Store, which, in addition to the two London boutiques, extends to the Soho House Building in Mitte district and includes clothing, design, music and books to offer a creative and social retail experience.

A second place that can't be missed is Voo Store, that, from streetwear to high fashion, from new brands to renowned designers, offers a constantly rotating selection of collections, design objects, gift ideas and literature classics.

The shopping spots that most distinguish this city, however, are the concept stores.

First and foremost, Chrome Store, which is specialized in premium "modern" vintage clothes and accessories, current collections and second season by local high-end fashion designers.

Then Temporary Showroom, one of Berlin's oldest retail locations concept, and Oukan, a hotspot for avant-garde in Berlin.

You can't avoid visiting Ulf Haines, that brings together Ann Demeulemeester, Helmut Lang, Junya Watanabe, Maison Margiela along with accessories and temporary art exibhition, and Andreas Murkudis, whose vast industrial space shows a unique selection of products in a museum-like atmosphere.

Then there is STUDIO183, retail boutique concept representing an evolving selection of international and Berlin-based artists and designers.
