Pucci, all the colors and fluidity that characterize one of the most famous and luxurious boutiques in Florence.

The opening of the first Pucci boutique in Florence dates back to 1951, but the designer and founder of the famous haute couture brand stood out in the fashion world in 1947, when the US magazine Harper's Bazaar photographed him in an aerodynamic ski clothing designed by himself.

His first atelier was born in the Pucci family palace in the heart of Florence, where he began working with expert textile producers of Italy. Pucci had the desire to free women, granting them freedom of movement, indeed he was one of the first to patent revolutionary elastic fabrics which avoided the heavy and rigid fabrications in circulation at that time.

His collections fascinated an entire generation of women looking for a modern and dynamic style. His drawings were characterized by sensual, fluid and elegant lines that followed the natural curves of the female body.

Moreover, Pucci designed the futuristic uniforms of the airlines, the logo for a space mission and a luxury car. He has also created prêt-à-porter and accessories collections including clothing, bags, small leather goods, footwear, eyewear, beachwear and silk accessories. He has collaborated with major brands such as Guerlain and the casing of the Baptistery of Florence with a giant colored print was created in his honor.

The colors, the natural landscapes of the Mediterranean, but also the exotic places in which he traveled were his source of inspiration: a tradition that has passed down over the years and which characterizes his creations rigorously Made in Italy.
