Printemps is a chain of department stores, that was born in Paris in 1865 by Jules Jaluzot and Jean-Alfred Duclos, known for its wide collection of luxury goods and beauty products for both man and woman.
The main flagship store of this great luxury chain is Boulevard Haussmann's No. 9, which is particular for its imposing facade made by the architect Jules Sedille and his son Paul. There are also other shopping centers in the French region, such as Lyon, Tours, Marseille, Lille and others.
It is characterized by nine floors, with many luxury brand shop-in-shop, such as Gucci, Valentino, Dior, Chanel, Cartier, Prada or Louis Vuitton.
On the top floor of the building, you can admire the Parisian panorama through a wonderful dome, which is made of glass, thanks to the architect Charles Risler and designer Jules Chéret. An element that can be inmediatly noticed is the purple color, used to recall flowers, to remember and resemble the advent of spring.
