Philip Treacy, the brand of luxurious hats for aristocracy.

Philip Treacy is the most famous hats designer in London. In 1990 he opened a little laboratory in Elizabeth Street: today it is a luxurious boutique. The designer became famous because he creates unconventional hats that looks like artworks.

His hats are so particular and are designed for British and European aristocratic class, but also for Hollywood. Indeed, Philip Treacy hats have been created above all for the Royal Family: during William and Kate wedding, more than 36 guests put on the famous hats.

Treacy creates also hats for high-fashion brands, such as Alexander McQueen, Givenchy, Chanel, Valentino, Ralph Lauren and Donna Karan, and for famous films, such as Harry Potter and Sex and The City.

In the 90’s he received five times the best accessories designer recognition during the British Fashion Award and in 2007 he received the British Empire Commander title directly from Prince Charles and Camilla for the services given to the fashion industry.

The boutique in Elizabeth Street has a very elegant taste. The ample windows are refined in gold adored with a golden unicorn, symbol of Philip Treacy brand. Inside, the deep blue walls contrast with the with floors. Sideways there are two white furniture, where can be found a good selection of hats, as well as into the glass furniture arranged on a black and white rhombic section of the floor in the middle of the room.
