Gucci is one of the most famous and prestigious boutiques in the world. The designer Guccio Gucci founded the Maison in 1921 in Florence and at the beginning produced mainly leather products and was principally a leather goods shop. In the 30s, its gloves, belts, suitcases and trunks were the exclusive Italy souvenir, ideal for women from all over the world.
At the beginning, the Gucci style was inspired by equitation, indeed, for this reason, the green-red-green stripes texture was drawn and, later, also the blue-red-blue one, made of cotton or wool, inspired by the saddles girth.
Every year Gucci produces excellent and luxury collections for men, women and children, including clothing, shoes, accessories, jewels, small leather goods and bags, beauty products and perfumes, but also a line for the home.
Over the years, the fashion house obtained enormous successes and a lot of boutiques opened throughout the western and eastern world. Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn, Maria Callas and the Duchess of Windsor, but also Elisabeth Taylor and Samuel Beckett are just some of the famous personalities who loved to dress up Gucci.
