Mirta is the digital showroom that revolutionizes the way fashion brands and retailers sell and buy wholesale. Born in 2019 from the idea of Ciro Di Lanno and Martina Capriotti, Mirta started as a B2C platform to bring the best Made in Italy brands to international markets. By 2021, Mirta was reaching more than 60,000 customers all over the world, but we soon realized that the wholesale market was the next big step for the company. In the same year, Mirta launched its B2B platform, which immediately became the focal business, with the aim of becoming the global wholesale leader in the high-end fashion industry.
As of today, Mirta connects more than 400 brands with retailers from 80+ countries. Indeed, the Mirta marketplace allows international buyers to discover new brands to offer to their communities and easily order online, speeding up the traditional wholesale processes. On the other side, Officina, the back-office system adopted by all brands on Mirta, digitizes and simplifies the post-order workflow, minimizing errors and reducing time spent on operative tasks. From their past experiences, the co-founders realized that the fashion industry was harming the planet and the diversity that has always been a characteristic of the industry itself. For this, the mission of Mirta is to bring back the power of contemporary local and independent brands, bringing their stories to international communities that share the same values and believe in a more ethical and inclusive fashion industry.
