Molecule 03 is made of glass-veryl acetate, pure and singular.\r\nVetiveryl Acetate could be described as a hybrid, half-natural and half-synthetic molecule. It is a fraction of vetiver oil, distilled from the roots of an Indian grass, which is then 'crossed' with acetic acid to remove the bitter and choriaceous aspects of the root.\r\nThe result is an elegant and refined molecule with the woody, slightly herbaceous character of the vetiver, but much smoother and softer. \Acetylation also enhances the grapefruit touch in the vetiver,\ says Geza Schoen, \giving a more pronounced fresh and bitter head note.\
