The logo with the Medusa head, recognizable all over the world, is synonymous with bold contemporaneity in fashion. The Versace brand is known for shirts and t-shirts with important patterns, formal suits with a contemporary cut, sumptuous accessories such as necklaces, bracelets or bags (also for travel), shoes and sneakers and even a line of home furniture.
Calabrese son of seamstress, Gianni Versace leaves his native land at the age of 25, to pursue the Milanese dream. In the big city he began to meet personalities and to work in companies in the sector until 1976, when he founded the Versace brand together with his brother Santo.
Since the first fashion show in 1978, which immediately met success, today the brand is famous and recognized worldwide. Bold and unconventional clothes are the characteristics that immediately distinguished the stylist, contributing to the unhinging of the previous stylistic canons.

In 1997 he was murdered in front of his villa in Miami. Since then the brand has been taken over, as well as by his brother Santo, by his sister Donatella: for years he has wisely taken on the creative direction, continuing to keep the brand one of the best known and most prestigious worldwide.
