Save the Duck brand, colorful and ironic, was created by the Venetian entrepreneur Barbara Donadon and Nicolas Bargi, globetrotter of nature, and creator of collections of great quality, at affordable prices. We can find Blackwitch, Ganesh and the latest born Save the Duck among the brands he created. The latter takes shape from two innovative ideas that materialize in the mind of Nicolas just back from a business trip and research in Japan, in 2011.
The first idea was a new interpretation of the concept of the duvet and the second was the growing attention, even in the fashion world, for issues related to the environment. In Tokyo, he discovered a super light down jacket that can be used 8 months a year, suitable for each season; from here, he elaborates the concept for which his duvets must be dynamic products, bright colors and suitable for everyone, because they are practical thanks to the lightness and the fact of being able to bend them up to the size of a pocket, suitable for any occasion thanks to the quality, the very fashionable style and the fine finishes, with a perfect fit.
The second idea has developed thanks to the use of padding with high thermal performance and synthetic nature, borrowed from technical-sports clothing, plumtech®: Save the Duck down jackets do not use natural feathers, thus earning the title of "animal friendly".
Today the Save the Duck duvets are distributed in over 1500 stores located in Italy, France, Germany, Northern Europe, Russia and the United States.
