Off-White™ is a luxury streetwear brand made in Italy. The brand, classified as a life style brand, with its revolutionary approach has redefined the concept of luxury, combining it with the essence of counter-street cultures: a journey through music, art, culture, a new key to high fashion. The women’s clothing collection is the leitmotif of this vision: tailored coats, oversize sweatshirts, dress with colorful prints, T-shirts with the famous slogans As for women’s accessories there are sneakers, boots, bags and belts. Similarly, the men’s collection is the perfect balance between tailoring and urban charm: the wardrobe is complete with coats, shirts, cargo pants, sweatshirts, T-shirts; as for men’s accessories we find the iconic sneakers, belts and hats. Off-White™, through its aesthetics, is able to give value to cultural aspects that have always been unknown or neglected by the fashion industry: it communicates antithetical worlds, such as music with fashion, where the garment becomes the intermediary between these different realities.
Off-White™ stands out for its underground style, with an unmistakable urban charm, minimal and refined: the attention to detail and the search for high quality Italian fabrics, are distinctive elements of its collections. The brand has a disruptive and ironic spirit, unique in its kind, an overwhelming and irreverent dialogue between fashion, art and music. Off-White™ was born from the desire to elevate and celebrate streetwear, leading it on the haute couture scene: the result is revolutionary and out of the box, a perfect balance between high fashion and pop subculture, where garments like sweatshirts and T- shirts, but also sneakers become the protagonists of the catwalks. Off-White™ finds the right compromise in creating an exclusive and inclusive fashion, suitable for all ages, informal and formal at the same time, a fashion rich in culture, that of the street, which has seen its garments become real symbols of belonging.
Off-White™ is a creative universe, conceived and founded in Milan in 2012 by designer Virgil Abloh, who died in 2021 at the age of 41. Collaborations, such as the partnership with Nike, Moncler, Jimmy Choo, combined with a contemporary urban aesthetic, lead the brand to success in a short time, establishing itself as a symbol of luxury streetwear: in 2019 it ranked as the most desired brand in the world, according to the Lyst Index. Today the brand has joined the Italian company NGG, New Guards Group, recently acquired by Farfetch, French giant of online sales. The immortal and revolutionary values of Virgil Abloh, now become statement, will continue to find voice through the work of the new creative director of Off-White™, Ib Kamara.
