Manolo Blahnik designer and shoe designer of the homonymous brand, he was born and raised in the Canary Islands, Spain. In 1970 he founded his boutique in London. After more than 40 years, the Manolo Blahnik style is still unmistakable, refined and modern: vertiginous heels, laces, seams make its shoes sold worldwide unique.
With four women's collections per year of shoes, bags and a men's collection, he still designs every shoe and works by maintaining a close relationship with Italian artisans.
More than 150 seasonal pieces, in addition to favorites including the iconic Hangisi, BB and Caos. Each shoe is given a name, chosen by Manolo himself, for him the shoe is an expression of the past, a vision of the future, but above all an object of fascination for the present.
Designed freehand, using brushes and watercolors with a linear, bright and colorful style, it gives impressionistic quality, thus making the sketch a true work of art. An original style that led him to establish himself in pop culture, and it is also thanks to the wide use of his shoes in Sex and the City that made him the fifth star of the series.
Awarded the title of Queen's Baronet on the occasion of his birthday in 2007, today the brand has more than 300 stores including 17 single-brand stores worldwide.
