A world leader for quality, the brand Loro Piana has been dressing men, women and children for almost a century. The pillar of the brand is certainly knitwear, in particular turtlenecks with an elegant cut and warm and enveloping crew-neck sweaters, but the collections also include double-breasted coats made water-repellent by the Rain System® treatment, long or midi dresses with floral prints, hooded canvas jackets, cashmere pants, straw hats and leather sneakers.
The brand history starts in 1800, when the Loro Piana family began trading wool and fabrics. In 1924 Pietro Loro Piana founded the company “Ing. Loro Piana & C ” in Quarona, still today the brand headquarters. The family imprint and the meticulous attention to raw materials have always been the pillars of the brand, that from the beginning of the twentieth century to today has never ceased to confirm its sartorial excellence.
In the 1960s, the Italian brand started its search for valuable raw materials and, after this research, the Tasmanian® fabric was born, produced with the highest quality Australian merino wool. The care and attention of the company follows all the stages of garment production, from the use of natural fibers to the continuous commitment to technological innovation.
Tradition, craftsmanship and the safeguarding of animals and the environment are the basis on which the success of Loro Piana brand is founded. Refined details, delicate finishes and softness cashmere are found in all the collections of the Italian brand. The various shades of beige and brown, colors dear to the company, are flanked by garments in a wide variety of colors: red, green, blue, cream and pink. The final result is achieved in a total look characterized by a sophistication and a timeless taste that men and women from all over the world never stop giving up.
