Founded in 2017, Kwaidan Editions has already been a finalist for the LVMH award, has captured the attention of the buyer all over the world and has dealt with the industry insiders.
The two founders live in London: Hung La is American-Vietnamese, Léa Dickely is French. Both in work and in private life, they are both cinephiles enthusiasts, and for their brand they chose the name "Kwaidan" inspired by the homonymous film by Masaki Kobayashi (1965) based on a series of traditional folk ghost stories.
Whether it is long-skinned cotton work skirts, vinyl coats, tailored suits, floral chintz or Alpine prints hand-painted by Léa herself, all Kwaidan Editions are characterized by rare simplicity and tactility to be found in the industry today.
