Born in Italy in 1967, Kappa is a leading sportswear brand worn by the world’s biggest teams and brightest stars.
Kappa was born from a sock and underwear company named Maglificio Calzificio Torinese (MCT) in 1916 in the Italian city Turin. It was created as a sub-brand of the Aquila one, as a result of a production problem that had caused a loss in sales.
Kappa produces distinctive slimline apparel for football, basketball, volleyball, autoracing, skiing, sailing, golf, fencing and martial arts. Its streetwear collections reflect its northern Italian roots. Kappa’s “Omini” logo pictures the silhouette of a man and woman leaning against each another; it represents the equality of men and women and their mutual support.
