Founded in 2001 in Tokyo by Tatsuo Horikawa, Julius was initially a project dedicated to the creation of film and video. In 2004, appeared the first collection of clothing, which due to the roots of the brand, full of art.
The collection has a distinctive dark gothic flavor, where the predominant colors are black and gray, respectively symbol of madness and pain. The garments have a basically unisex approach, made of overlapping and oblique cuts. Materials often have a rough appearance and lived, like leathers, which are washed and take on a typically full of wrinkles appearance. Leather jackets are now object of worship, for men and women, changing classics and biker jackets in a postmodern way. The brand, though Japanese, has its offices in Paris, where partecipate regularly at Paris Fashion Week.
