The brand tells a story of a passion born in 1979 in the Marche where, still today, a concept, an emotion, operates by hand. The story of a family that, for two generations, has been committed to publishing attention to detail, the quality of raw materials, design and originality. A brand with a distinct identity, defined and unmistakable.
With its own distribution and a “balanced” export, Halmanera is a brand owned by the Beppe Shoe Factory of Potenza Picena, the shoe factory was founded in 1979 and in 2012 Luca Petrelli, the owner of the company, handed over the keys of his company to two young people, Matteo Borraccini (marketing and e-commerce manager) and Francesca Achilli (sales manager), who reorganized the business with different criteria from those historically known in the Marche footwear district.
The shoes are recognizable because they have a colored heel. The models that are produced are designed by the designer Gaetano Pezzola for whom the leather is decisive. It must be soft in order to enhance the workmanship and style.
The Marche brand has recently produced the “Halmanera x The Blond Salad” capsule collection by Chiara Ferragni and aims to make its retail debut next year with two single-brand stores (one in Milan and one in Paris) and then landed in New York in 2020.
Today the company is growing rapidly, its brand is distributed in 150 Italian stores and 350 abroad, it manages an e-commerce that weighs 7% on turnover and produces 600-700 pairs per day of women's shoes medium high with the method of bag processing.
All Made in Italy for leathers and "Made in Marche" for the packaging, as the brand also uses 4 external laboratories.
