Gianvito Rossi is a living proof of how the transmission of talent is linked to heredity. After working in the historic footwear company of his father Sergio Rossi, in 2006 he founded his brand of women’s shoes, redefining the aesthetics of the shoe, transforming it into something modern, simple, elegant and never vulgar. His creations, worn by the most beautiful women in the world, from queens to Hollywood stars, are sophisticated, sensual, feminine and are born to enhance the beauty, telling about artisan wisdom through every detail.
House’s iconic models are: the Pump Plexi, a classic décolléte shoe on three heel heights, made of plexiglass and velvet, comfortable and easy to wear, with transparencies that allow you to see the side of the foot; the Vamp suede boots, unique in its kind, with deep neckline, designed to combine the character, structure and strength of a bootie to the sophistication of a décolleté.
Over time, the designer has been able to cultivate his own personal, glamorous, contemporary style, which he also proposes in the men’s collections. Gianvito Rossi is a cosmopolitan, with well-defined tastes, who loves details, quality and comfort not only in the sneaker but also in the classic men’s shoe, increasingly lighter and less narrow and subtle, reinterpreted in a cleaner and more linear aesthetic.
The company of San Mauro Pascoli, in the footwear district of Romagna, produces today about 300 thousand shoes a year, working with tanneries and Italian suppliers, using leather of the best quality.
