In the heart of the Marche region, in Montegranaro, in 1968 Mario Giannini opened an artisan shoe production workshop that in 1973 was transformed into the Doucal's company. For a few years the brand, in addition to internal production, creates footwear for prestigious Italian and international labels, such as Givenchy, Armani, Yohji Yamamoto and Saint Laurent. Later, it will decide to focus exclusively on its product. Today, the founder's sons, Gianni and Jerry are at the helm of the company: the first takes care of the style and image of Doucal's, while the second of the commercial and financial part.
The careful research for excellent materials and the desire to create an enveloping and comfortable product that lasts over time ensure the foot a great fit and freshness, made possible also thanks to the insertion of a memory foam layer in the insole.
