Disney x Gucci is the collection launched in early 2020 by Alessandro Michele to celebrate the Chinese New Year. The creative director of the brand, in honor of the year of the mouse, has created an exclusive collection dedicated to the world’s most famous mouse, Mickey Mouse.

 

The design of the Disney character colors up outerwear, t-shirts, sweatshirts and sweaters, and is also the protagonist of prints, embroidery and jacquard motifs. The added value of this collection lies in having recovered one of the historical patterns of Gucci in the 80s, the Mini GG Supreme, using it for footwear, especially sneakers, and leather goods such as bags, belts, wallets, suitcases and hatboxes.  The dominant colours of the palette are beige and ivory white with occasional touches of pink and blue.
