The meeting of the Japanese brand Comme des Garçons and the global sportswear giant, Nike, has brought minimalism to the heart of streetwear. The designer of the avant-garde brand, Rei Kawakubo enjoyed, during the year, deconstructing and customizing the silhouettes of various Nike models, such as the Air Carnivore, the Shox TL and the Air Max 95.
Trait d’union of the various reinterpretations is the use of black and white colors, sometimes combined with some shades of gray. The only exception can be found in the limited edition launched by the two brands of the Air Max 180, centered on a particular shade called "laser pink".
The latest creation born from this collaboration, the Nike x COMME des GARÇONS Air Force 1 Mid, are the most desired sneakers of the moment, for women and men. Available only from the end of October in boutiques, these shoes appeared for the first time on the catwalk during the Paris Fashion Week in March, on the occasion of the 'Neo Future' show by Rei Kawakubo, and from that moment have won the place of honor among the dreams of all those who dress the luxury street.
