Introduced in 1993, the Comme des Garçons Comme des Garçons line furnishes staple women’s styles introduced in the main collection: polka dots, unorthodox tailoring, hole-punctured knits, pleated skirts and jodhpur trousers. Simpler and more commercial dresses, but still artistic, are designed to become part of the wardrobes of ordinary people and complete the main collections of the brand.
Known for their radical "anti-fashion" aesthetic, head designer Rei Kawakubo's creations remain a challenging, intellectual force that has never left the cutting edge.
