Colmar, sport and elegance.

Founded in Monza in 1923 by Mario Colombo, in the first decades the company produces wool felt hats and gaiters, and then work clothes. After the war, with the resumption and development of the sport, it began specializing in sports, with particular attention to the ski.

Working in close collaboration with the Italian Winter Sports Federation, Colmar buy early fame as a producer of high-tech clothing and the 1952 Olympics, the company has for the first time the task of dressing the Italian ski team and realizes first aerodynamic windbreaker. The next four decades Colmar has dressed the national teams of alpine skiing, nordic skiing and other disciplines, such as the bob and luge.

Today Colmar has diversified its production and, besides technical clothing, also produces fashion items, in fact in 2009 was born the line Colmar Originals, aimed at a younger audience.

Creativity, innovation, research, care of every single detail are the key words in the development of products Colmar, also enhanced by the collaboration that over the years the company has developed with the professionals of the sport with which collects tips, feedback and ideas.
