 Coach, symbol of American craftsmanship

Coach is a high fashion brand that offers accessories and leather goods of all kinds, both for women’s and men’s line. In addition to the classic leather bags that still determine the success of the brand, Coach presents in its collections: footwear, jewelry and accessories, from belts, sunglasses, up to fragrances.  

Coach was born with the intent to blend craftsmanship with practicality, beauty and portability. Inspired by the iconic spirit of the city of New York, Coach, with the belief that fashion must be a means to express their personality at its best, is the perfect reflection of modern freedom and equality. After having sought the best leather workmanship, making it softer but managing to maintain the strength and character of the latter, the first Coach bag is created characterized by a timeless elegance using traditional techniques and tools. Over time, Coach has consolidated as a true fashion house, a spokesperson for affordable luxury products, designed to last, with a practical and simple design, inspired by the pragmatic success of the first creative director of the brand: Bonnie Cashin.

Founded in the Big Apple in 1941 by six artisans, under the guidance of Lillian and Miles Cahn, Coach, over time, has evolved from excellent American leather goods to the recognition of haute couture in all respects. Since the foundation of the maison, several figures have made the history of the brand, from the first creative director Bonnie Cashin, whose eccentric and creative perception of colors and proportions have left an indelible mark in the maison, arriving in 2013, with Stuart Vevers. Vevers, through an appreciation for American pop culture and a love of craftsmanship, reinvents the heritage of the brand, inspired by the free spirit of the city of New York and getting in touch with the new generations.
