Blauer USA is the brand that preserves and renews the tradition of American workwear.
Founded in Boston in 1936 by Louis Blauer, the company began marketing its own garments in the 1950s, developing a light rain jacket that was adopted by the army, marines and aviation. A constant search for materials, solutions and cuts both for men and women led the company to be universally recognized as the best producer of uniforms for public security, a leadership position that it still maintains today.
Today Blauer reinterprets the concept of uniform in the fashion market, to dress independent, cosmopolitan men and women who are sensitive to quality, authenticity and the search for fine, high-performance materials.
In 2001, the Italian fashion holding company FGF Industry, led by Enzo Fusco, signed a license agreement with Blauer to introduce the brand in the fashion market. Since 2017, the brand has become 50% owned by FGF.
