Bally is a historic Swiss luxury brand specializing in the leather’s production and craftsmanship. Entirely handmade men's and women's shoes, women's accessories such as bags and walletshave always been the main focus of the brand. During the 90s the brand enters the world of retail, creating the first clothing line: as for the men’s collection, the brand produces leather jackets and coats, shirts, pants; the women's collection is complete with dresses, skirts, tops and knitwear. The design, innovative but rich in history and tradition, is an aspect fundamental that has accompanied the evolution of the company right from the start.
Bally has an unique style: contemporary, inspired by art, refined and essential; it proposes a totally innovative and functional fashion thanks to increasingly avant-garde production techniques, which does not give up on tradition and craftsmanship, careful to details and meticulous. The brand lays its foundations, its DNA, on the quality of materials and fabrics with the aim of achieving high-level performance: the result is footwear with a strong sense of modernity. Traditionality and design are therefore the historical values that have distinguished and accompanied Bally's manufacture in the luxury fashion industry for years.
A 170-year journey: Bally was founded in Schönenwerd in 1871 by Carl Franz Bally. It was born as a family business, but the strong propensity for innovation led the brand to establish itself in a short time as a leader in the production of footwear. Today, the brand, owned by the JAB Holding Company, is based in Caslano: Switzerland is the backdrop to a company that has always been committed to supporting the environment by taking concrete action; an example is the Bally Peak Outlook Foundation (2020), a project aimed at protecting and safeguarding the Swiss Alps. The recent creative direction of Rhuigi Villaseñor is leading the brand towards a stylistic evolution, a more sensual vision, but always faithful to the tradition and made in Switzerland, which has accompanied Bally for over 170 years.
