Alexandre Vauthier joined the design studio of Thierry Mugler, who taught him about the construction of the garment. Later he became the head designer of the couture collection at Jean-Paul Gaultier and the two worked together for 8 years.
These experiences contributed to the extension of his creativity, making him launch his own brand in 2009. His style is inspired by his french culture and his anglo-saxon influences, that resulted in a need of preciseness, rigor and radical cuts. He is also passionate about the search of futuristic and luxurious fabrics. According to him, clothing has to be impeccable in its construction as well as translating the emotion of the women wearing the garment.
Today he makes different aritistic collaborations in the fields of ready-to-wear, costumes, perfumes, music and interior design.
